The weather held up and gave camp goers of Camp Quality a beautiful week to enjoy in the sun as sixty-six kids made their way to the West Arm of Lake Nipissing this week.

The annual camp gives those effected by cancer a getaway, a week to just be a kid.

Director of Camp Quality Northern Ontario Allison Kennedy says the kids had a great time.

The camp is run completely by volunteers and this year there was a thought that the camp may be short. But 130 volunteers came out to help and Kennedy says this may have been the best group of volunteers ever.

Camp Quality Northern Ontario is one of seven one week camps across the country with five of them in Ontario.
