Fatal Crash In Construction Zone On Hwy 69

Sudbury O-P-P are on scene of a fatal collision on Highway 69, between Highway 637, the turnoff for Killarney and Highway 64, at Alban.

Just before 3am Thursday, a transport and a car collided in the zone of the road currently under construction.

Both lanes of traffic are closed for the police investigation and clean-up.

The detour for Northbound traffic is Highway 64.

Anyone heading southbound must take Highway 17-East to Hagar and then use Highway 537 and Highway 64 to get around.

The stretch of Highway 69 is expected to be closed for a few more hours.
