Noelville O-P-P have identified the victims in Monday’s fatal crash on Highway 64 in Alban, between an eastbound pick-up truck and a westbound passenger vehicle.

The driver of the passenger vehicle, 44-year old Tammy Dini Mitchell of French River, was airlifted to hospital, but later died of her injuries.

The driver of the pick-up truck, 33-year old Roch Labelle, also of French River, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 64 reopened just before noon, after it was closed for over five hours for the investigation and clean-up.

Police continue to look into the cause of the early morning collision.

One person is dead and another injured after a collision in Alban early this morning.

Just after 6am this morning, Noelville O-P-P were called to Highway 64 after two vehicles collided near Gauthier Road, in the Township of French River.

One driver was air-lifted to hospital but died of their injuries, while the other driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway 64 was closed between Highway 607 and Presquile Road most of the morning for the police investigation and clean-up.

No information has been released about the victims.
