Drug charges have been laid on two males after a routine RIDE program stop.

Greater Sudbury Police were conducting their RIDE program aimed at finding impaired drivers, on MR 84 in Capreol close to midnight on Saturday, when a Ford pickup truck pulled up and officers smelt Marihuana.

Further questioning led to the arrest of the two men and officers found around 100 grams of pot in the truck and a small amount of suspected cocaine on one of the accused.

They both now face charges of possession and possession with the purpose of trafficking.
