***Has Taylor up-ed the battle of words with Katy Perry?***
Taylor Swift teased the upcoming music video for her 1989 track “Bad Blood” on Twitter with a black-and-white movie poster that shows her starring as a super-villain named “Catastrophe.”
This casting is appropriate, since “Bad Blood” is thought to be a diss track directed at Swift’s arch frenemy, Katy Perry, and the tagline on the promotional poster is also a lyric from the song: “Band-Aids don’t fix bullet holes.” The video is slated to premiere at the start of the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on May 17.

***Surgery sidelines Sam Smith***
Sam Smith has revealed that he’s getting surgery to repair his vocal cords, a move which is forcing him to cancel more dates on his world tour.
“I am very upset to announce I have been battling to get my vocal cords better the last 10 days, but unfortunately they haven’t recovered and I am going to need surgery,” Smith wrote on Instagram yesterday. “I’m so gutted to be missing all the shows and events I was meant to be playing at. The doctors say I will be back in 6-8 weeks and I cannot wait to sing for you all soon.” The canceled shows were scheduled for Tokyo, the Philippines, France, and Monaco.

***This is so fetch***
Harper’s Bazaar reports that Jennifer Aniston will star in a Mean Girls spinoff called Mean Moms.
The movie will be helmed by Aniston’s Horrible Bosses 2 director Sean Anders and focus on a mom being introduced to “the competitive world of parenting,” much like Lindsay Lohan’s Mean Girls character Cady Heron was thrust into high school. It’s unclear whether Aniston will be playing the Cady or Regina George of the mom circle (here’s hoping it’s the latter). Mean Moms will be based on the book Queen Bee Moms And King Pin Dads by Rosalind Wilson, the author behind Mean Girls’ inspiration Queen Bees and Wannabes.
