***Cancer diagnosis for Taylor Swift’s mom***
Taylor Swift shared some sad news with her fans on Tumblr, revealing some of her mom, Andrea’s, situation.
Taylor thought of her fans first. “She wanted you to know because your parents may be too busy juggling everything they’ve got going on to go to the doctor,” Swift wrote. “Maybe you reminding them to go get checked for cancer could possibly lead to an early diagnosis and an easier battle…or peace of mind in knowing that they’re healthy.” Swift added that she’s choosing to “keep the details of her condition and treatment plans private” and that Andrea, who’s known as a fixture at Swift’s shows, “may not be at as many shows this tour.” …We’re sending thoughts and prayers to the Swift family.

***The Natural Evolution, of a Conscious Uncoupling***
Remeber when Gwyneth Paltrow chose to refer to her split from husband Chris Martin as a “conscious uncoupling”? Well, the two have shown that they really know how to break up amicably. “This is a natural evolution for Gwyneth and Chris as friends and as a couple,” a source tells People of their recent family getaway to Mexico, which was followed by Martin meeting up with girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence and Gwyneth making her public debut with boyfriend Brad Falchuk. (editorial comment: This next quote is barf-making.)
“As they find their way forward, as individuals, they will naturally be more public about seeing other people, if not showy about it.”

***A unusual tribute for Selena***
The family of the late singer Selena announced this week that a lifelike hologram of the star will record new music soon before heading out on tour. On Selena’s Facebook page, her family said the hologram, called “Selena The One,” will be a “walking, talking, singing and dancing, digital embodiment… ‘Selena The One’ will release new songs and videos, will collaborate with current hit artists, and aims to go on tour in 2018.” Selena’s sister Suzette tells Billboard, “By no means is this something that’s creepy or weird…We just felt as a family that this is definitely something we’d want.”
